_There's no such thing as "Sure, I'll come for just one drink."

_You won't get a call for days on end but the second you step into a meeting /the cinema/a library and forget to switch the phone to Silent Mode, the bastard will start ringing off the hook. Also applicable for the days you forget your phone at home.

_Consumers are not as dumb as you think.

_No matter how many books you have piling up at home in the Unread Stack, it is incredibly difficult to leave Kinokinuya without a bagful of new books. It is also incredibly difficult to sneak said bagful of new books past your girlfriend into the house.

_Mondays are always a bit brighter if you’ve bought something new to bring to work / school. Like a new shirt.

_Superstars and socialites may reside on a higher plane above us plebs, but I'm pretty sure they have to fart sometimes.

_You can never have too many trainers. Or watches.

_There are lots of things they didn’t teach me in school. Like how to open a bottle of wine. Or how to knot a tie properly. Or running with the bulls. Friends and life really do make the best teachers.

_In KL, if you are driving in the fast lane and turn on the indicator to say “Excuse me, I want to go faster. Could you please let me pass?” it will be misconstrued by the car in front as “Hey Asshole (said Russell Peters style), I bet you can’t drive half as fast as me. Why don’t you step on it and see how long you can stay in my way?”

_The second you pop in Disc 1 of a 10 disc DVD box set series into the player, be prepared to camp out on the couch in front of the TV and write-off the rest of your weekend until you’ve ploughed right through until Disc 10.
