Sunday Evening

At home, vegging on the couch in front of the tube:

Khaylis: You know what A?
A: What.
Khaylis: I think I’m at a point in life where I can truly say that I really couldn’t ask for anything more.
A: Okay… (Okay, what does she want now.)
Khaylis: I dont think I've ever been able to say that before...
A: (Maybe if I don't say anything she'll change the subject...)
Khaylis: Yeah. You know, I think that…I think I’m happy.
A: Really?
Khaylis: Yeah. I think I’d like to remember this moment. You know, ten, twenty years down the line when looking back. To remember that on my 26th birthday, I was happy.
A: Am I a part of that happiness?
Khaylis: Yeah, a bit.

And then we watched Ben Stiller’s new movie.
