Stills from Geneve

Pretty lights at the funky boutique hotel in Geneva my parents stayed at.

Unpacking (well, at least my Ma is, while everyone else just lazes about).

L'hiver élégant: stylish women of wintertime.

L'hiver élégant: Somewhat stylish Papa of wintertime

Do you see what I see? (Way up in the sky, little lamb...): After taking the telecabin up to the mountains on the French side of the border, you can see a magnificent aerial view of Lake Geneva at the viewing terrace.

Someone's brilliant idea: The start of the spontaneous hike up to the top of the mountain to see a view of Montblanc (not the pen). Take note that although my brother-in-law is a black beret in the Swiss Army, my parents are pushing their mid-fifties and my sister is at the end of her second trimester...and well, I haven't been to the gym since before fasting month.

What goes up must come down: the hike down the mountain took thrice as long to go climb down as we navigated the slippery frozen trails and knee deep snow, in rather ill-equipped hiking gear. Here, my sister is flanked by my Dad and her military trained hubby, while my mother went ahead, skipping down the trail like a mountain goat. Of course, while bringing up the rear, I slipped and fell on my bum (no pictures of this).

Finally getting on the concrete path: and you will recognise me by my raspberry beret (but the kind you find at an Accesorize store, unfortunately...)

Good Dog: As there was no room in the car, Atilla waited patiently at home for us.

Attila: Make looove to the camera.
